How spray insulation works

Essentially, when the two components which make up spray foam insulation combine, a chemical reaction happens; this leads to the rapid expansion you see when the product is sprayed from the nozzle. As it quickly fills every space it can find, it continues to expand and then harden, creating a tight seal around the area.

Air Leakage

Air leakage plays a huge part in both heating and cooling your home. By installing spray foam, particularly in the attic and crawlspace, you could massively reduce the air flow into and out of your property; which, in turn, will increase efficiency and reduce your heating bills as such.

Airtight Seal

Because of the expanding nature of spray foam, it can reach every inch of your property – no crack or gap will be left unfilled. It's this airtight seal which makes spray foam so insulating, and heats your home or building with maximum efficiency.

Moisture & Condensation

Air isn't the only thing you need to be wary of – even a tiny amount of water leaking into the cracks and cavities of your home could lead to damp, mould and other problems. Spray foam is 100% waterproof and entirely impermeable to water, meaning you seal your home from any unwanted moisture as well as air, compounding the efficiency.

Quality Product

We use industry-leading spray polyurethane foam to create a barrier at every point from which your home is losing heat and energy – doors, windows, walls and roofing. Its ability to conform to any space it meets is what sets spray foam insulation apart as the best option for helping to heat your home.
